Portfolio Update

Removed some of my lower confidence/lower upside positions & added some commodities & hedges

Quick update: We’re having a great YTD and first year for the portfolio. I think the market has gotten a bit ahead of itself, especially given the evolving situation in the Middle East. I’ve sold some lower-upside & lower-quality companies in the portfolio to raise cash for what I believe are better opportunities.

I’m maintaining my positions in my core holdings and the companies I believe have the highest upside potential.

I’ll provide more detailed analysis this weekend, but I want to get this update out before the end of the week.

I sold IOT 0.00%↑ ULTA 0.00%↑ ATGE 0.00%↑ CHGG 0.00%↑ .

I’ve added PRM 0.00%↑ CNX 0.00%↑ RKLB 0.00%↑ which I intend to be long-term positions (more than 1 year).

I also added SLV 0.00%↑ GLD 0.00%↑ PPLT 0.00%↑ URA 0.00%↑ which are more likely to be shorter-term positions.

Finally, I added UCO 0.00%↑ as a hedge against volatility in the middle east and SQQQ 0.00%↑ as a hedge against a pull back in what I believe to be an overvalued large cap tech sector. These are both leveraged ETFs so it’s important to make sure you thoroughly understand how they work before buying them.
