Why I opened a bearish short-term trade

Quick update on a short-term position. If you’ve followed me for a while, I’ve shared previously that I look at my process as 90% long-term investing in great businesses and 10% short-term.

This helps me stay focused on the long term while having the freedom to make adjustments when I feel things are irrational (either to the upside or downside).

With that being said, I’m not at all trying to predict a doom and gloom scenario or market crash.

But as I outlined last week, there’s a lot of hype in the market and in my opinion expectations have gotten ahead of reality.

Here’s my last update on the position changes I made last week. Then I’ll get into the short-term trade and share the full current portfolio.
